Athens- is the historical capital of Europe, with a long history, dating from the first settlement in the Neolithic age. In the 5th Century BC (the “Golden Age of Pericles”) – the culmination of Athens’ long, fascinating history – the city’s values and civilization acquired a universal significance. Over the years, a multitude of conquerors occupied Athens, and erected unique, splendid monuments - a rare historical palimpsest. In 1834, it became the capital of the modern Greek state and in two centuries since it has become an attractive modern metropolis with unrivalled charm.

Itinerary

Day 1

On  arrival at Athens International Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel in your private coach to check in.

You will then have soem free time to start exploring this beautful city at your leisure.

In the evening  you will enjoy  dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to your hotel for your first nights stay.

Day 2 

After breakfast at your hotel, you will visit the  The Acropolis whicj is located on a flattish-topped rock that rises 150 m (490 ft) above sea level in the city of Athens.   

You will then vist the  Ancient Agora the  best-known example of an ancient Greek agora. The Agoraios Kolonos, also called Market Hill. After Ancient Agora visit you will then visit  the  Acropolis Muesum.

The monuments of the Acropolis have withstood the ravages of past centuries, both of ancient times and those of the Middle Ages.

In the afternoon your tour will continue to  The National Archaeological Museumn which houses some of the most important artifacts from a variety of archaeological locations around Greece from prehistory to late antiquity. 

In the evening you will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to your hotel 

Day 3 

After Breakfast at your hotel, you will enjoy a full day  trip to  Delphi, The Temple of Apollo and  Archaeological Museum of Delphi.

Delphi is famous as the ancient sanctuary that grew rich as the seat of Pythia, the oracle who was consulted about important decisions throughout the ancient classical world. 

After Delphi visit  you will then visit the  Temple of Apollo visible today date from the 4th century BC. 

After Temple of apollo visit, you will then  visit the Archaeological Museum of  Delphi.

After a thouroughly interesting day you will be transferred back to your hotel before enjoying dinner at  alocal restaurant.

Day 4 

After breakfast to your hotel., you will enjoy a full day excursion  to Mycenae and  Epidavros 

Mycenae  is an archaeological site near Mykines in Argolis, north-eastern Peloponnese, Greece.
Mycenae, an acropolis site, was built on a hill 900 feet above sea level, some 19 kilometres (12 miles) inland from the Gulf of Argolis. 

In the afternoon the tour will continue into the  Epidavros. Epidaurus was a small city (polis) in ancient Greece, on the Argolid Peninsula at the Saronic Gulf.

In the evening you will be transferred back to your hotel and enroute you will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5 

After breakfast at your hotel, you will enjoy your last day free for leisure or to go shopping.

In the afternoon you will be  check out of your hotel and be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
