Tour Duration: 5 nights/ 6 days

Package Description

Space Camp Turkey offers an exceptional opportunity for children with an interest in space, engineering, science, or aviation to gain hands-on experience and training outside the traditional classroom setting. The camp's engaging space and technology presentations aim to guide children towards finding their career paths, inspired by stories and images of astronauts who've visited the camp.

Key life skills such as problem-solving, time management, and leadership are developed through the camp's activities. Children learn to tackle challenges creatively, manage their time effectively by distinguishing between urgent and important tasks, and pursue leadership roles, all in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Teamwork is a fundamental part of the Space Camp Turkey experience, teaching children the value of working together through various activities like hot air balloon construction, space shuttle simulations, and mission patch creation. The camp's counselors play a vital role in nurturing these skills, encouraging collaboration, and fostering a sense of community among campers.

Moreover, Space Camp Turkey emphasizes STEM education, utilizing NASA-designed astronaut training simulators and real-world applications of scientific concepts to make learning engaging and relevant. This hands-on approach aims to inspire students to take on more challenging STEM subjects.

The camp also offers personal growth opportunities through its safe and secure environment, where children can meet new friends, take on responsibilities, and interact with adult role models like counselors. This unique experience supports children's self-confidence and personal development, making Space Camp Turkey an impactful and memorable journey towards their future careers.
