Geography Trip to Japan

Country: Japan

City: Tokyo

Tour Duration: 8 nights /9 days

Package Description

Japan's geography significantly shapes its society and culture due to its location and dimensions, influencing demographics, social structures, and international relations.

Known as a shimaguni or island nation, Japan comprises four major islands: Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu, along with thousands of smaller islands, including Okinawa. The Sea of Japan sets this archipelago apart from the Asian mainland.

In terms of size, Japan is akin to the large U.S. state of California, yet it is considerably smaller when compared to the vastness of Asia and the entirety of the United States.
