Itinerary

Day 1 
On arrival into Hong Kong International Airport you will complete all of the formalities, collect your luggage. You driver will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel accommodation.

Day 2 
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, your coach will be waiting for you to take you to The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited

After two very educational and inspiring visits you have dinner at a local restaurant before heading to the nightly Symphony of Lights Show which starts at 2000.
A Symphony of Lights" (SoL) has illuminated Hong Kong's skyline for the enjoyment of millions of tourists since 2004. This multi-media show has always been the signature icon for Hong Kong, symbolizing its dynamic energy and contrasting culture.

In December 2017, SoL has taken on a new direction and transformed Hong Kong's cityscape into a true symphony. 

In grand style the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra has recorded the new musical score, entwined with a vibrant and contemporary flavour, representing the charismatic rhythm of Hong Kong. Traditional Chinese flutes and string bowed instruments such as the Erhu, have been interwoven to create a truly distinctive sound, matching Hong Kong's character of "east meets west".

With 43 buildings and two attractions featured in this incarnation of SoL, this symphonic approach joins each participating building into a harmonious and complete canvas, working effortlessly together to the beat in unison. The city of Hong Kong is SoL's source of inspiration; the patterned symmetry of the skyline, modern metropolitan design, forested mountain terrain and expanse of the harbor, offer a truly all-encompassing visual and sound scape of the soul of Hong Kong. A myriad of searchlights, lasers, LED screens and lighting illuminate for this nightly spectacle that transforms the HK skyline into an outdoor audio visual feast for the senses.

After enjoying this spectacular show you will return to your hotel for your overnight accommodation. The show is free and lasts around 10 minutes.

Day 3
Today is a fun day and your coach will pick you up after breakfast at your hotel and take you to Hong Kong Disneyland. Hong Kong Disneyland is a world-renowned theme park located on Lantau Island, offering a magical experience that blends classic Disney charm with unique cultural elements. Opened in 2005, it is the first Disney theme park in China and has since become a major attraction for both locals and tourists. The park is divided into several themed lands, including Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point, and Toy Story Land. Each land features a variety of attractions, shows, and experiences designed to entertain visitors of all ages.

Visitors can enjoy thrilling rides like Space Mountain in Tomorrowland, the enchanting it’s a Small World in Fantasyland, and the adventurous Jungle River Cruise in Adventureland. The park also offers unique attractions such as the Mystic Manor in Mystic Point and the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars in Grizzly Gulch. Character meet-and-greets are a highlight, allowing guests to interact with beloved Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and various princesses.

Hong Kong Disneyland is also known for its vibrant parades and spectacular nighttime shows, including the "Disney Paint the Night" parade and the "Disney in the Stars" fireworks display. The park incorporates local culture and traditions, offering special seasonal events and celebrations like Chinese New Year and Halloween, which feature themed decorations, performances, and activities.

The park is designed to provide a comprehensive visitor experience, with a variety of dining options ranging from quick-service snacks to full-service restaurants, many of which offer both Western and Asian cuisine. The Park closes at 2100 therefore you can have lunch and dinner during your day before you head back to your hotel.

Day 4
After ‘recovering ‘from your very exciting day at Disneyland you will today embark on some more ‘educational’ experiences! Your first visit will be The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is a prestigious institution renowned for its academic excellence, research contributions, and global impact. Established in 1911, HKU is the oldest tertiary institution in Hong Kong and consistently ranks among the top universities worldwide. Located in Pok Fu Lam on Hong Kong Island, HKU's campus boasts modern facilities and a vibrant academic community. HKU offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various disciplines, including business, medicine, engineering, law, and the humanities. The university is known for its rigorous academic standards, distinguished faculty members, and emphasis on research and innovation.

During a visit to HKU, students will have the opportunity to explore one of Asia's leading universities and gain insights into higher education in Hong Kong.
They will tour the campus facilities, interact with faculty members, and learn about the university's academic programs and research initiatives. In the afternoon you will visit the Museum of History. 

The Hong Kong Museum of History originated in the City Hall Art Gallery and Museum. It was founded in 1962 and was renamed the City Museum and Art Gallery in 1969. In 1975, it was split into the Hong Kong Museum of Art and the Hong Kong Museum of History. The latter was initially housed in rented premises in Star House, Tsim Sha Tsui. In 1983, it was relocated to a temporary site in Kowloon Park, and in 1998, it was moved to its present premises on Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Apart from the main museum the Hong Kong Museum of History runs five branch museums, namely the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence at Shau Kei Wan, the Lei Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum at Sham Shui Po, Law Uk Folk Museum at Chai Wan, Fireboat Alexander Grantham Exhibition Gallery inside the Quarry Bay Park and Dr. Sun Yat-sen Museum in the Mid-Levels of Central.

You may want to consider one of the other museums as well or instead of the main museum, this can be arranged.

In the evening you will enjoy a traditional Chinese dinner and a culture performance of a Lion Dance. The Lion Dance is a traditional Chinese cultural performance that holds significant importance in Hong Kong's heritage. The Lion Dance symbolizes good luck, prosperity, and warding off evil spirits. 

Accompanied by the rhythmic beat of drums, cymbals, and gongs, dancers mimic the movements of the lion, believed to bring blessings to onlookers and businesses. The vibrant and colorful lion costumes, typically manned by two performers, captivate audiences with their acrobatic feats and lively performances. You’re likely to see Lion Dance performances in various locations across Hong Kong, including temples, shopping malls, and cultural events. Additionally, the dance may also be performed at other celebrations or special occasions throughout the month. It's a wonderful opportunity for students to experience this traditional art form.

You will enjoy dinner close by to the Lion Dance before heading back to your hotel.

Day 5
After breakfast at your hotel you will be collected from your coach and transfer to Cyberport. 

A visit to Cyberport in Hong Kong offers students a unique insight into the vibrant tech ecosystem and innovation hub of the city. As a leading technology precinct, Cyberport serves as a catalyst for digital transformation and entrepreneurship. During the visit, students will have the opportunity to explore state-of-the-art facilities, interact with tech start-ups, and learn about the latest trends in innovation and technology.

They will gain valuable insights into the entrepreneurial journey, hearing from founders and innovators about their experiences in developing and scaling tech ventures. After a very enjoyable and informative morning you will get some lunch before visiting the Hong Kong Science Park. After a very enjoyable and informative morning you will get some lunch before visiting the Hong Kong Science Park. Hong Kong Science Park to explore the innovation and research facilities. Arrange for a workshop or interactive session with tech professionals. The Hong Kong Science Park is known for its focus on applied research, technology development, and collaboration between industry and academia. Visiting the Science Park will provide students with exposure to cutting-edge research, innovation projects, and technology companies. Students can take a guided tour of the Science Park, visit tech laboratories, innovation centers, and attend workshops or presentations by tech professionals. After two fascinating visits you will head to the Causeway Bay area for dinner followed by some time for shopping and exploring some nearby attractions.  Causeway Bay is a vibrant and bustling district in Hong Kong, offering plenty of attractions and activities to explore. Here is an idea of what you be able to do and discover:

Times Square is one of the largest shopping malls in Hong Kong, offering a wide range of shops, boutiques, and dining options. Explore the bustling streets filled with shops, department stores, and markets offering everything from fashion and electronics to local souvenirs. You can experience Hong Kong's diverse culinary scene by trying local street food stalls or dining at traditional cha chaan tengs (Hong Kong-style cafes). Causeway Bay offers a variety of international dining options, from casual eateries to upscale restaurants. You can visit the historic Tin Hau Temple, dedicated to the goddess of the sea, and experience traditional Chinese architecture and culture. Explore Lee Gardens, a complex of shopping malls and office towers, which often host art exhibitions and cultural events. You will discover colorful street art and murals along Wong Nai Chung Road, adding artistic flair to the area. Marvel at the impressive skyscrapers and modern architecture that dominate the Causeway Bay skyline. Exploring Causeway Bay will immerse you in the vibrant atmosphere of Hong Kong's retail, dining, and cultural scene, offering a mix of traditional and contemporary experiences.

You will be collected by your coach at an agreed time and head back to your hotel for your last nights’ accommodation.

Day 6
After enjoying breakfast for the final time in Hong Kong you will still have a long day to explore some more activities. After breakfast go to your room and pack everything and collect your personal belongings. You will then check out and the hotel will store your luggage. You will then get a coach or use public transport and your first visit will be Stanley Market. Located on the southern coast of Hong Kong Island, Stanley Market is a bustling market known for its vibrant atmosphere, shopping opportunities, and picturesque waterfront views. 

Explore the market streets filled with stalls selling everything from clothing and accessories to souvenirs and local crafts. You never pay the first price quoted and you can practice your bargaining skills and get the best price! Stanley Market has a vibrant atmosphere and you will have lots of fun shopping for last minute bargains. Catch some lunch at one of the many restaurants or café’s along the Stanley waterfront, offering a variety of cuisines with scenic views.

After Lunch you can spend some time strolling along the Stanley Promenade, enjoying views of the sea and nearby islands. Optionally, you can visit attractions like Murray House, a historic colonial building relocated to Stanley, or Tin Hau Temple.

It would be a good idea to make some time visiting Victoria Peak also.  Victoria Peak offers stunning panoramic views of Hong Kong and is a must-visit attraction. 
You will depart from Stanley and head to Victoria Peak. You can take a bus, taxi, or the iconic Peak Tram to reach the top. You can visit the Sky Terrace for breathtaking views of Hong Kong's skyline, Victoria Harbour, and surrounding mountains. The scenery is amazing and a great photoshoot opportunity!

After an enjoyable day you will meet your coach and head back to your hotel to collect your luggage in time for check in for your flight back to Dubai at 2100.
