Itinerary

Day one
On arrival into New York JFK or Newark Airport you will complete the formalities and head out of the terminal to meet your waiting coach.
You will then transfer to your hotel in Manhattan to take some long needed rest before heading out for lunch or dinner depending on your selected flight.
You will then head back to your hotel for your first nights’ stay.

Day two
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will embark on a day of sightseeing.
Your first stop will be the 9/11 memorial. The 9/11 Memorial and Museum serves as a place for reflection and remembrance, with the memorial pools sitting in the footprints of the original Twin Towers.
Each pool features the largest man-made waterfalls in North America, symbolizing the void left by the tragedy. The museum offers a comprehensive timeline of the events leading up to, during, and after the attacks, with multimedia displays, archives, narratives, and a vast collection of artifacts. Personal stories of courage and survival are highlighted throughout the exhibits, offering visitors a poignant reminder of the human impact of the attacks.

The Survivor Tree, a Callery pear tree that endured the devastation, stands as a symbol of resilience and hope. The museum also provides educational programs and resources to help future generations understand the historical context and lasting effects of 9/11.

You will the visit Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. The Statue of Liberty, designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and dedicated in 1886, stands on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. A gift from France to the United States, it symbolizes freedom and democracy. The statue's torch, held high, represents enlightenment and the path to liberty, while the broken chains at her feet signify freedom from oppression.

Visitors can explore Liberty Island and its museum, which offers exhibits on the statue's history, construction, and significance. The pedestal includes a museum with interactive displays and artifacts related to the statue’s history and its role as a welcoming figure for immigrants.

Ellis Island, located a short ferry ride from Liberty Island, was the main entry point for immigrants to the United States from 1892 to 1955. The Ellis Island Immigration Museum, housed in the restored main building of the former immigration station, provides a vivid portrayal of the immigrant experience. Exhibits include personal stories, photographs, and records that reflect the diverse journeys of the millions who passed through the island. Both sites are integral parts of American history and offer a profound understanding of the nation's immigrant heritage and the enduring ideals of freedom and opportunity.
You will then enjoy a Walking Tour of New York with a knowledgeable guide through Wall Street and visit many well-known attractions.
After a very enjoyable day you will enjoy dinner, and have some free time before heading back to your hotel.
