Learn French in Nice and experience one of France's most vibrant cities! Located on the dazzling Cote d'Azur coast - nicknamed the French Riviera - Nice enjoys an excellent year-round climate and high-speed rail connections to other key cities in France. A language course here allows you to truly experience the laid-back Mediterranean lifestyle for which southern France is so famous. The area around Nice also boasts a number of beautiful medieval villages, where you can enjoy some traditional local cuisine and put your language skills into practice - well worth a visit during your course at our school!

Itinerary

Day 1:
Your journey begins in the heart of Paris with a morning visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. Start early to beat the crowds and enjoy the climb or lift ride up to the observation decks, marveling at the city sprawling beneath you. Spend your afternoon strolling through the Jardin des Tuileries, the lush gardens that lead you from the Eiffel Tower to the magnificent Louvre Museum. Dedicate the evening to exploring the treasures within the Louvre, including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo, before enjoying a dinner at one of the nearby traditional French bistros.

Day 2:
On the second day, immerse yourself in the historical grandeur of Paris with a morning visit to the Palais du Trocadéro site, soaking in the unparalleled views of the Eiffel Tower from its remnants. Continue your journey through history to the Arc de Triomphe, standing majestically at the top of the Champs Elysées. Spend your afternoon wandering down the Champs Elysées, indulging in shopping, and savoring coffee at a café. As evening falls, find a spot to watch the sunset over the city, then perhaps catch a show at one of the theaters lining the avenue.

Day 3:
Begin your day with a visit to the Latin Quarter, where you can feel the academic pulse of Paris among its historic universities and bustling cafés. Visit the Pantheon, then spend your afternoon on a relaxing Seine River cruise, passing by Paris's most iconic landmarks from a unique vantage point. End your day with a French language lesson to brush up on your skills, perhaps practicing what you’ve learned with fellow diners at a local restaurant.

Day 4:
Depart Paris early for Versailles, spending your day marveling at the opulence of the Palace of Versailles and its vast gardens. Return to Paris to experience the Montmartre district in the evening. This artistic hilltop neighborhood offers breathtaking views of Paris, charming streets, and the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of famous artists who once called it home.

Day 5:
Transfer to Nice early in the morning. After checking into your accommodation, take a leisurely walking tour of Nice, including the Old Town (Vieux Nice), Cours Saleya Market, and the Promenade des Anglais. Spend your evening enjoying Mediterranean cuisine at a local restaurant, perhaps trying a traditional Niçoise salad.

Day 6:
Dedicate this day to exploring the French Riviera with a guided day trip. Visit the glamorous cities of Cannes and Antibes in the morning, strolling through their quaint streets and marinas. In the afternoon, discover the medieval village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, before concluding your tour in the princely state of Monaco. Return to Nice for a quiet dinner.

Spend your afternoon at leisure, perhaps visiting the Musée Matisse or relaxing on the beach. In the late afternoon, head to Grasse for a perfume apprentice workshop at Fragonard, where you'll create your own fragrance. Return to Nice for your final dinner on the Riviera, reflecting on the memories made.
