Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive at your hotel for the week after a long flight, take time to unpack and see the hotel. You will then experience the busy streets and constant flow of yellow taxis in New York Times Square. Take your time to look around and grab a bite to eat in Times Square. As sundown goes into nightfall you will experience the dazzling lights of the city that never sleeps.
Day 2
After a delightful breakfast, The coach will take you to the New York Film Academy, where you will have a morning group session. The New York Film Academy was built on the belief that practical learning and industry best practices are more valuable than years of theoretical study for students in film, media, and performing arts.
After filling up on a quick lunch you will walk to Ellen's stardust diner but eating there will have to wait till later. This will be the pickup point for the NYC TV+ Movie Tour. Pick up is 2.00pm. The tour will last 3 hours. The movie tour explores iconic filming locations, from classic blockbusters to modern hits. In the evening you will experience a meal at Ellen’s Stardust Diner, where the vibrant atmosphere features singing servers and an extensive menu of American classics.
Day 3
After enjoying breakfast and once you are ready for the day your coach will pick you up and take you to south ferry. Arrive at The Battery and hop on the ferry which takes you to the iconic Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. This iconic monument, a gift from France to the United States, welcomes visitors with its majestic presence and timeless message of hope and liberty. This trip will take around 3 hours. Just a 5-minute walk from the ferry drop off you can take photos with the famous New York ‘Charging Bull’. There are fast food restaurants in the vicinity to enjoy a quick lunch.
After your lunch, your second stop will be MOMA(Museum of Modern Art). The coach will take you to your destination. MoMA, located in New York, showcases a diverse collection spanning from innovative 1880s European painting to contemporary film, design, and performance art, providing a panoramic view of modern creativity. Conclude the day with a show at Broadway. Broadway, situated in the heart of New York City, stands as the renowned center for theatrical experiences. Its is rooted
in the central avenue around which numerous theaters cluster. This theater district is renowned for housing top-notch commercial stage productions in the United States, with its origins tracing back to the construction of the inaugural theaters in the 1700s. (Back To The Future)
Day 4
After a delicious breakfast you will visit the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. The principal span of the Brooklyn Bridge, measuring 486 meters (1,595 feet) in length, held the record as the world's longest until the completion of the Firth of Forth cantilever bridge in Scotland in 1890.
After crossing Brooklyn bridge, you will then experience lunch at Time Out Market where you can witness the bridge from a different angle.
The coach will then drive you through Brooklyn, New York where you will arrive at the Museum of Moving Art to see some mind-blowing displays. The Museum of the Moving Image in New York offers an engaging journey into the world of film, television, and digital media. Explore captivating exhibits, artifacts, and interactive displays that highlight the evolution and impact of moving images on our culture and society. This should take around 2-3 hours.
The next stop in New York is Alamo Cinema which offers a delightful fusion of dining and
entertainment. Situated in the heart of the city that never sleeps, this unique cinema experience invites patrons to indulge in a diverse array of culinary delights before settling in for a captivating movie.
Day 5
After a lovely breakfast, your driver will take you directly to the Highline. Arrive at the Highline to take some memorable photos and sketches of New York from above. The High Line is a unique elevated park in New York City, repurposed from an old railway line. It stretches over 1.45 miles through Manhattan's West Side, offering visitors a serene escape with gardens, pathways, and art installations elevated above the city streets. This adaptive reuse project provides a distinctive perspective of the city's architecture and the Hudson River while blending nature and urban design. Your next destination is the David Zwirner Art Gallery, which is close to the end of the highline, you'll
have the opportunity to experience the exhibition 'I Spend Each Day Embracing Flowers'. Immerse yourself in the artistic beauty and creativity this renowned gallery has to offer. Or Radio City Hall Tour, The Radio City Music Hall tour is a captivating journey through the iconic venue in New York City. With access to behind-the-scenes areas, it offers a glimpse into the world of entertainment and show business. Since Jekyll and Hyde has closed its doors in New York, we have found an alternative restaurant which is Juniors Restaurant & Bakery. After eating at Juniors, the coach will take you home for a good night's rest
Day 6
NBC studio Tour. NBC is currently closed but will open in the short future. The NBC Studio Tour in New York offers a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the production of popular TV shows. Visitors explore iconic sets and learn about TV production. Live-Tapings are not allowed for people under the age of 16. Following your morning experience, your next destination is the iconic Empire State Building, a quintessential structure of New York. While there might be an approximate 30-minute queue before you ascend the building, the wait is certainly worthwhile. Once at the top, take advantage of your free time to soak in the breathtaking panoramic views of New York City from its elevated heights. As you arrive at The Broadway Theatre, you'll witness the dazzling lights that emanate from its facade, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. Prepare to be captivated by a sensational show that promises to leave an indelible mark on your memory. Day 7
After an enjoyable breakfast at the hotel, your first stop of the day is New York University(NYU), where an insightful tour awaits. Discover the nuances of this prestigious American university as you explore its campus and learn about its history, programs, and vibrant student life.
The next leg of your journey will take you on a short bus ride to the globally renowned destination, Macy's. Before heading into Macy’s, a quick stop at New York’s brand-new Harry Potter Exhibition, where the Wizarding world comes true. This should take around 60-90 minutes. Macys just a 4-minute walk away is a world-famous establishment that needs no introduction.
Upon arrival, you'll have the luxury of free time to enjoy. Treat yourself to explore the plethora of shopping options that Macy's offers.
In the evening you immerse yourself in the realm of music history and culture as you enter the doors of the Hard Rock Cafe. Be surrounded by its distinctive collection of rock memorabilia that stands as a testament to the genre's enduring legacy
Day 8
After delicious breakfast, you will check out from your hotel, Store your luggage with the hotel or on the coach and make the most of your remaining hours to savor the last moments of your New York adventure.
Your coach will transport you to Central Park to behold its scenic beauty. This expansive green oasis provides an ideal setting to capture breathtaking visuals, film captivating scenes, and create memorable photographs and sketches. Enjoy the tranquil ambiance and the diverse landscapes that Central Park offers, providing a fitting finale to your New York journey. Indulge in an early dinner at a traditional American restaurant, savoring a final taste of uthentic American cuisine. Following this delightful meal, take a leisurely stroll back to your hotel. Retrieve your luggage and prepare for your onward journey as transfers to JFK Airport await you.
